One of my favorite LG OLED TVs is down to its Black Friday price of just 9

In the world of TVs, April is a busy month. Many of the most prominent TV-makers are rolling out their latest lineups, which means all eyes are on the newest models. But while this is going on, some of the best TV deals of the year are flying under the radar.

Take, for instance, LG’s entry-level OLED from 2025, the B5. Right now, you can get the 48-inch LG B5 for just $599 at Best Buy, which is the same low price it hit during the Black Friday sales event.

LG C6 and the flagship-level LG G5), but it still comes with all of the built-in benefits we’ve come to expect from this incredible display technology.

OLED TVs have captured the attention of viewers for over a decade on account of their incredible contrast. As is the case with all OLED displays, each of the LG B5’s millions of pixels is self-illuminating. This means that the picture isn’t saddled with the distracting, blue-tinted light bloom that you’ll often see on backlit LED TVs.

And, while it’s true that higher-end OLEDs (like the aforementioned C6) offer better highlight brightness than the B5, the B5’s perfect black levels and self-lit pixels nevertheless sets it apart from mid-range Mini-LED TVs. In a dimly lit or dark room, the B5 looks especially impressive.

It comes with many of the same bells and whistles you’ll find on higher-end LG OLEDs.

The B5 isn’t low on extra features, either. It comes with many of the same enhancements you’ll find on higher-end LG OLEDs, including LG’s webOS smart platform, Dolby Vision support and a heaping helping of gaming-related features.

In fact, the B5 is an especially valuable pick for gamers, as it’s equipped with a similar set of gaming features as LG’s more-advanced models. It supports 4K gaming at 120Hz, which is the top 4K spec for the latest consoles. It also comes with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility.

If you’re looking for something bigger than 48 inches, the 55-inch LG B5 is on sale for $799 at Amazon , which is still a slam-dunk deal, if you ask me.
