Right now, you can get up to $1,300 off the new Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup through a preorder deal at T-Mobile. But be quick to lock in the deal. The new phones are available to preorder now and will officially arrive in stores and online on March 11.
Early impressions have been promising. CNET’s Patrick Holland found the AI features on the S26 and S26 Plus particularly compelling in his hands-on time, while CNET’s Abrar Al-Heeti noted that the slimmer, lighter S26 Ultra feels far less bulky than previous Ultra models. One of the more talked-about additions is the new Privacy Display feature, which helps keep on-screen content hidden from side angles.
The biggest promotion currently available applies to the S26 Ultra. T-Mobile is offering up to $1,300 off through monthly bill credits when you sign up for a qualifying plan that costs at least $100 with AutoPay. The discount is spread across the financing period, meaning the phone can effectively end up free if you stay on the plan long enough.
The S26 Plus has a similar offer, but it requires a trade-in. With a qualifying $85-per-month plan and an eligible device, you can receive up to $1,100 back through bill credits. For example, trading in a recent phone such as the S25 could qualify for the full discount, while trading in an older device may earn smaller credits.
The base Samsung Galaxy S26 can also be free through bill credits with a qualifying $85-per-month plan. As with other offers, taxes on the phone’s original price are due at checkout, and T-Mobile also charges a $35 device connection fee when activating your new device.
There are a few additional fine print details to keep in mind. The promotion is a limited-time offer, and you’ll need qualifying credit approval to participate. The line receiving the promotion must remain active and in good standing to keep receiving the monthly credits, and paying off the phone early will end those credits.

Why this deal matters
For anyone planning to upgrade anyway, deals like this can significantly cut the cost of a new flagship device. The standard S26 and the S26 Plus are $100 more expensive than the previous generation, so spreading the price out through monthly credits can take the initial sting out of the price.
