The one sticking point has always been the price: $2,000 is a lot to swallow, no matter how good the phone is.
The good news is you don’t have to pay full price. Amazon has direct discounts of up to $480, and if you’re willing to trade in an old device or open a new line through a carrier like AT&T or Verizon, the savings get even deeper. We’ve rounded up the best Fold 7 deals available right now, and we’ll keep this page updated as things change.
Best Galaxy Z Fold 7 deals
You could trade in an old phone for up to $1,000 off. Only the latest Samsung phones will net you the full discount, but devices from Apple and Google are also accepted.

Right now, Amazon is offering up to $400 off on the 256GB and $480 off on the 512GB versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in jet black (colors vary in price). Plus, the retailer has its own trade-in program, where you can save up to $600 on your old phone. Devices from Apple, Google, Motorola, OnePlus and Samsung are all accepted.
You can get $200 off both the 256GB and 512GB versions, and $100 off if you activate the phone through Verizon or AT&T. You can save even more if you’ve got an old phone to trade in, with devices from Apple, Google, Samsung, Motorola and OnePlus all accepted.
AT&T customers on a qualifying unlimited plan can save up to $1,100 with an eligible trade-in, which reduces the 256GB model to $25 per month and the 512GB model to $28 per month. You’ll get the full discount for any phones valued at $95 or more, and even older and damaged devices valued at just $35 or more will still net you $800 in credit. The discount will be applied as bill credits over 36 months.
If you’re switching from a different carrier, AT&T is offering up to $800 to break your contract. If you’re ordering online, you can also get up to $200 off with a new line.
Right now, new customers joining Google Fi on any full-service plan will save $300 instantly and get $150 back in bill credits over 24 months, bringing your savings to $450.
